- It's Sam's Scene...
- Safari Sam's Hollywood first opened it's doors on April 2006, but the story of Safari Sam's goes all the way back to 1984, when Sam Lanni and Gil Fuhrer started the original Safari Sam's in Huntington Beach. Though the original Safari Sam's club was only open for two years it is still remembered as one of California's pre-eminent clubs, having had the likes of Black Flag, Social Distortion, 10,000 Maniacs, Jonathan Richman, The Minutemen, and was the hub of the Orange County punk scene.
